ASTROMUS STUDIO WEBSITE TERMS OF USE
AstroMus Studio
Website Terms of Use
Last updated: August 31, 2026
These terms govern access to and use of the AstroMus Studio corporate website and its project-information pages.
1. SCOPE AND ACCEPTANCE
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of astromusstudio.com and the corporate and project-information pages operated by AstroMus Studio Inc. through that domain (collectively, the “Website”).
In these Terms, “AstroMus Studio,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to AstroMus Studio Inc., an Alberta corporation.
By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.
If you use the Website on behalf of a company, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to act on its behalf.
If you are not legally able to enter into these Terms on your own, a parent, guardian, or other legally authorized person must review and agree to them on your behalf.
Separate terms may apply to particular games, applications, products, promotions, or services.
For example, downloading or using Fizet is governed by the separate Fizet Terms of Use and End User Licence Agreement. If these Website Terms conflict with product-specific terms, the product-specific terms govern the relevant product or service.
2. ABOUT THE WEBSITE
The Website provides information about AstroMus Studio, its projects, creative work, and related activities.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Website does not itself:
- create user accounts;
- process product purchases;
- provide cloud storage;
- operate a public forum;
- accept user-generated content;
- operate an online multiplayer service; or
- guarantee the release of any announced or displayed project.
Any purchase, download, or use of a product through Google Play or another third-party platform is also subject to that platform’s terms and purchase process.
3. PROJECT AND PRODUCT INFORMATION
The Website may describe current, planned, experimental, or unreleased projects.
Statements such as “coming soon,” “in development,” “planned,” “current project,” or similar wording are informational and do not create a binding promise regarding:
- a release date;
- supported platforms;
- pricing;
- geographic availability;
- features;
- content;
- continued development; or
- commercial release.
Project names, images, descriptions, features, designs, screenshots, and development plans may change before or after release.
Nothing on the Website constitutes a guaranteed offer to sell, licence, publish, or complete a particular product.
We seek to keep Website information accurate, but information may become incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.
4. PERMITTED USE
You may access and use the publicly available Website for lawful informational purposes.
You may:
- view public pages through an ordinary web browser;
- link to public Website pages;
- refer to AstroMus Studio and its projects for lawful commentary, journalism, review, discussion, or other uses permitted by law; and
- use accessibility technology to access the Website.
This permission does not transfer ownership of the Website or its content and does not grant a licence to use AstroMus Studio intellectual property for commercial branding, merchandising, promotion, or product development.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise indicated, the Website and its contents are owned by, licensed to, or otherwise lawfully used by AstroMus Studio Inc.
Protected content may include:
- software;
- source code;
- Website design;
- page layouts;
- text;
- logos;
- names;
- characters;
- artwork;
- illustrations;
- icons;
- photographs;
- screenshots;
- animations;
- audio;
- video; and
- project materials.
The AstroMus Studio name, AstroMus Studio logo, Fizet name, project names, logos, and related branding may be trademarks or other protected identifiers.
Except as permitted by applicable law or expressly authorized in writing, you may not:
- copy or reproduce substantial portions of the Website;
- republish or redistribute Website content;
- sell or commercially exploit Website content;
- create misleading derivative branding;
- use our trademarks in a manner suggesting sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or authorization;
- remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or ownership notices; or
- use Website assets in another product, game, application, service, or merchandise.
Nothing in these Terms restricts rights that cannot lawfully be restricted, including applicable fair dealing, fair use, quotation, criticism, review, or news-reporting rights.
6. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
You must not use the Website to:
- violate applicable law;
- infringe another person’s rights;
- impersonate AstroMus Studio or another person;
- misrepresent an affiliation with AstroMus Studio;
- distribute malware or harmful code;
- interfere with Website availability, security, or operation;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, infrastructure, or non-public content;
- probe or test vulnerabilities without written authorization;
- bypass access, security, or rate-limiting controls;
- collect personal information about others unlawfully;
- send fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or unlawful communications;
- frame or mirror the Website in a misleading manner; or
- use automated systems in a way that places an unreasonable burden on the Website or its service providers.
Ordinary search-engine indexing that respects applicable technical instructions is not prohibited.
7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
The Website may link to Google Play, social platforms, service providers, or other third-party websites.
A link does not necessarily mean that AstroMus Studio:
- controls the third party;
- endorses all of its content;
- guarantees its availability;
- guarantees its security; or
- accepts responsibility for its products, services, or practices.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
You are responsible for reviewing the terms that apply before using a third-party service or completing a transaction through it.
8. COMMUNICATIONS AND UNSOLICITED SUBMISSIONS
You may contact AstroMus Studio using an email address published on the Website.
Unless we have separately agreed in writing:
- an unsolicited communication does not create a confidential, fiduciary, employment, partnership, agency, or professional relationship;
- we are not required to review or respond to unsolicited material;
- we are not required to compensate you for an unsolicited idea or suggestion; and
- you should not send confidential business plans, unreleased creative works, passwords, payment-card details, or sensitive personal information.
If you voluntarily send comments, bug reports, suggestions, or other feedback specifically about the Website or an AstroMus Studio product (“Feedback”), you grant AstroMus Studio Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, develop, and otherwise use that Feedback for lawful business and product-development purposes.
This Feedback licence does not apply to:
- personal information, which is handled under the applicable Privacy Policy;
- material submitted under a separate written confidentiality agreement;
- commissioned work;
- employment-related material; or
- creative work governed by another written agreement with AstroMus Studio.
9. PRIVACY
The AstroMus Studio Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled when you visit the Website or communicate with AstroMus Studio.
Product-specific privacy policies may apply to individual games or applications.
Use of the Website does not mean that AstroMus Studio receives ordinary gameplay data from a separate product unless the applicable product-specific privacy policy states otherwise.
10. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES
We may modify, maintain, suspend, restrict, or discontinue all or part of the Website.
We do not guarantee that:
- every page will always be available;
- the Website will be uninterrupted or error-free;
- links will remain active;
- archived or removed content will remain accessible; or
- the Website will support every browser, device, or operating system indefinitely.
Temporary or permanent Website changes do not automatically change rights granted under separate product-specific terms.
11. DISCLAIMERS
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Website and its content are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis.
AstroMus Studio does not make an additional guarantee that:
- the Website will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors;
- all information will always be complete, current, or accurate;
- every planned project will be released;
- every feature shown during development will appear in a final product; or
- third-party links or services will remain available.
The Website does not provide medical, legal, tax, accounting, investment, or other professional advice.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, condition, representation, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AstroMus Studio Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or connected with the Website.
This may include loss of:
- profits;
- revenue;
- business opportunity;
- goodwill;
- data; or
- anticipated savings.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total aggregate liability of AstroMus Studio Inc. arising from or connected with the Website will not exceed CAD $100.
These limitations do not apply to the extent liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including where applicable liability arising from:
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- wilful misconduct;
- gross negligence;
- death or personal injury caused by negligence; or
- violation of a mandatory consumer right.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, the exclusions and limitations apply only to the greatest extent permitted by law.
13. MANDATORY CONSUMER RIGHTS
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or waives any mandatory right, protection, warranty, condition, or remedy provided by applicable consumer-protection law.
If a provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory consumer right, the mandatory right prevails to the extent of the conflict.
14. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms and disputes relating to the Website are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
However, this choice of law does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections provided by the law of the jurisdiction in which the consumer resides.
Before beginning formal proceedings, you and AstroMus Studio are encouraged to attempt to resolve the issue through direct communication.
This informal process:
- is not mandatory where prohibited by law;
- does not waive any right; and
- does not extend or shorten any legal limitation period.
Subject to mandatory law, the courts of Alberta may hear disputes relating to these Terms. A consumer may bring a claim in another court where mandatory law permits.
These Terms do not require binding arbitration and do not contain a class-action waiver.
15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms to reflect:
- Website changes;
- new projects or Website features;
- changes to our business;
- legal or regulatory developments;
- security or technical requirements; or
- clarification of existing provisions.
The updated Terms will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date.
Changes apply prospectively unless applicable law permits otherwise.
Where a change materially affects existing rights or where consent is required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent as required.
16. GENERAL TERMS
If a provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
A failure by AstroMus Studio to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision or any other right.
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms in a manner that imposes obligations on AstroMus Studio without our written consent.
AstroMus Studio may transfer these Terms in connection with a merger, reorganization, sale of assets, financing, or other lawful business transaction, provided that mandatory rights are preserved.
These Terms and any expressly applicable product-specific terms constitute the agreement concerning the subject matter they govern. Third-party platform terms continue to apply independently.
Headings are included for convenience and do not alter the meaning of these Terms.
